USA Nikah (“App”, “Service”, “Website”, “Company”, “we” and “us”) respects the privacy of its users (“you”) and has developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures.
By using our website and App (our “Service”), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy in conjunction with our Terms of Use.
Since USA Nikah aims at providing an Islamic (Halal) avenue with minimized opportunities for immoral and indecent behavior on the App, it is imperative that we have the ability to closely and strictly monitor ALL activity of all members on the website (including visibility into all expressed interests, and all exchanged messages).
The contact information (email address and phone number) that is collected during profile creation is only for our internal purposes, and we never share that contact information with any other member on the App. We also request that you refrain from sharing your contact information with any other member and that you use the messaging system on the App to communicate with members.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We only operate in the United States. Therefore, we only collect information from users in this location. We don’t collect precise addresses of users ie. street addresses.
1.1 All Users
Whenever users (including non-member users) visit the Website, our servers automatically record information for statistical purposes about your usage of the Website such as:
(a) the type of browser used;
(b) the referring URL;
(c) the IP address;
(d) the number and type of pages viewed;
(e) the date and time of visits; and
(f) the exit URL.
1.2 Members
Upon your registration as a member, we collect information about you in order to provide you with the full benefits of membership. We collect non-identifying information as well as Personal Information from you directly when you first register and also from time to time thereafter if you provide us with additional information.

A cookie does not identify you personally but it does identify your computer. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain areas or features on our Website.
1.7 Transaction Data
The Company does not collect or process any bank data. The Apple App Store and Google Play Store have opted to refrain from sending certain data to mobile applications, which includes any banking and financial information. Such data is collected and processed solely by the above platforms, and The Company does not have the option of changing this payment method.
1.8 Mobile Data
When you use the App, we collect server logs which may include information such as IP addresses, operating systems or application crashes.
1.9 Selfie
We estimate your likeness based on your facial image to prevent fraudulent signups and fake account creation. To do this we collect a selfie from you as part of our signup process.
2. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Generally, we may use the information that we collect about you to:

When you register as a user of USA Nikah, your profile will be viewable by other users of the Service. You share information with other users when you voluntarily disclose information on the Service (including your public profile). Please be careful with your information and make sure that the content you share is stuff that you’re comfortable with since neither you nor we can control what others do with your information once you share it.
4.2 Service Providers/Partners
We may share information, including personal and financial information, with third parties that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, ad tracking and analytics, member screenings, supporting our Service functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our Service. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.

We may disclose your information, including personal information:

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We give you the ability to delete your account in the App Settings. If you Delete or Freeze your account, your account, profile, and photos are taken offline and are not shown to other USA Nikah members.
However, we will retain your data for a period of 1 year for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, enforce our terms and conditions, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Services or our users or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.
During this period, account information will be retained although the account will of course not be visible on the App anymore.
In practice, we delete or anonymize your information upon deletion of your account (following the safety retention window) or after a continuous period of inactivity, unless:
- we must keep it to comply with applicable law (for instance, some “traffic data” is kept for one year to comply with statutory data retention obligations);
- we must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for instance, records of consents to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other similar consents are kept for five years);
- there is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved; or
- the information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users’ safety and security. For example, information may need to be kept to prevent a user who was banned for unsafe behavior or security incidents from opening a new account.
6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Keep in mind, some links to other websites may be our affiliate links where we earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
7. YOUR RIGHTS

- Uninstall. You can stop all information collection by an app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device. If you uninstall the app from your mobile device, the unique identifier associated with your device will continue to be stored. If you re-install the application on the same mobile device, we will be able to re-associate this identifier to your previous transactions and activities.
8. RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA
If you are a California resident, you can request a notice disclosing the categories of personal information about you that we have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To request this notice, please submit your request here. Please allow 30 days for a response. For your protection and the protection of all of our users, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can answer such a request.

Although our Service is a general audience Service, we restrict the use of our service to individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under the age of 18.
