SAFETY TIPS
We are very concerned about the safety of our users. First, we aim to provide you with a safe and secure environment in which to search for and find your life partner. Below are some safety tips to follow.
1. PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION
You should not readily give out your email, phone, or social profile information the moment you find someone – remain anonymous until you feel ready. USA NIKAH hides your personal contact information ie. phone number, email address, and date of birth.
2. INVOLVE YOUR FAMILY
Marriage is much more than two people getting together. Get your family members involved when you are ready or comfortable enough to share your identity or meet with someone.
3. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS
There are red flags to watch out for that may indicate you’re dealing with a scammer. Be aware of anyone who –
- Sends you messages containing links to third-party websites
- Quickly asks to talk or chat outside of USA NIKAH
- Asks you for money
- Vanishes mysteriously, then reappears under a different name
- Asks for your address under the guise of sending flowers or gifts

4. ONLY USE OUR MESSAGING SYSTEM
Don’t communicate outside our messaging/chat system. This way, we have a record in case any problem arises in the future. Also, don’t tap any strange links in the chat when chatting with someone. Report the user immediately.
5. MEETING IN PERSON
Before meeting any individual, ensure that you are completely sure about the prospect. Do not meet your prospect in a private place. Meet your prospect in a public place and keep someone in your family informed. Better yet, bring someone along.
6. REPORT ABUSE
Report suspicious users. We have made it easy for you to report a user right in the app. Whenever you see the three dots, tap on them to see the Report option, e.g., on the user profile. Likewise, you can send us an email to contact@usanikah.com. Also, taking screenshots will be evidence, build a case, and speed up the review process.
Please report anyone who violates our terms of use. Examples of terms of use violations include –
- Asking you for money or donations
- Anyone who looks to be underage
- Users sending harassing or offensive messages
- Users behaving inappropriately after meeting in person
- Fraudulent profiles
- Spam or solicitation, such as attempts to sell products or services
